I went to Main Street Buick to pick out a new Cadillac and I was greeted by a gentleman named Andre. He was very professional and did not make me feel like I was pressured to purchase a car. I have been dealing with this particular dealership since it was Major Cadillac back in the late 90s and I purchased my very first Cadillac at this location. We just purchased an xt4 from this dealer, during our negotiations they were respectful and willing to find common ground. There were some issues after the purchase, however, the salesman came to our house and worked with my mother (the primary driver of the car) till she was satisfied and understood what needed to be done. I'll admit, coming from a small town and used to working with small town dealerships, I was skeptical going to the heart of KC to buy a pickup. However, Conklin Fangman proved me wrong. Everyone was very straightforward, knowledgeable, and friendly. Very easy to work with. Matt, the salesman, was extremely knowledgeable. Most car salesman can barely quote the sales brochure, and rarely know anything beyond that. Matt is actually a car guy himself, and was able to answer technical questions at least as well as a decent service tech. After the test drive, I knew I wanted the pickup, so we sat down with the sales manager, Jeff. He was very transparent, and we were able to quickly agree on a price that made us both happy. I was very specific on the list of options I was looking for, and anticipated buying a 2-3 year old pickup. I ended up coming home with a 1 year old pickup, and with the big engine no less, basically exactly how I would order a new one if price were no object, for what I felt was a good $1-2k under market value. Add in their unlimited time/mileage power train warranty, and it was a deal I couldn't refuse. Thank you to Matt, Jeff, and everyone at Conklin Fangman for being such a great example of how all dealerships should operate!
